Ken Howard was born and works in his birthplace of London.  His paintings of Venice and his compositions of the nude form have been the corner stone of what has been one of the most appreciated and well  loved careers in British art.   Ken Howard exhibited 33 years in a row at the Royal Academy in London before being elected RA in 1991.  He is best known for his delicate handling of the paint and his ability to capture the light in his work with seemingly effortless luminosity.  A painter of remarkable skill and unquestionable success his work is collected by people from all over the world,  hotly contested for in galleries and selling very quickly where ever they are.
