'Promethee Suite'

 The Promethee Lithographs were completed by Henry Moore in 1950 and published in 1951. This suite is from the 1st edition, limited to one of only 183 copies , printed on Marais wove handmade paper;  the lithographs were printed by Mourlot. This was the first book to contain original graphics by Henry Moore. This unique copy belonged to the publisher Henri Jonquières, signed by him in ink on the justification page (copies of which are attached to the back of each frame) and contains 2 extra full-page color lithographs, each signed and dated "50" by Henry Moore in pencil, one numbered "35/50" (Cramer 18, with variant colors), the other is inscribed "trial proof" (Cramer 28);
